Frequently asked questions

Is this a scam?

Fair question. Here's how it works: you send money from your own Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle straight to the person. BillSwipe never holds the money. Helping is free. Full details here: Is BillSwipe safe?

How do I know the bill is real?

Look for the ✓ Checked badge. That means we reviewed the photo and it matched the post. You can also start with a small amount. We can't guarantee every bill, so only send what you're comfortable with.

Do you take a cut?

No. Helpers pay the person directly. The only fee is $4.99/mo for people who want to post bills. That's it.

How do I post a bill?

Go to the site, create an account, and add the bill (what it is, amount, due date, optional photo). It costs $4.99/mo to post. Cancel anytime. Post a bill

How do I help someone?

Swipe through the open bills, pick one, and send the money from your own Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Then log it on the site so they can confirm. Browse bills

Can I help with part of a bill?

Yes. You don't have to cover the whole amount. Send whatever you're comfortable with.

What if the person doesn't use the money for the bill?

We can't control what happens after you send the money (payment apps usually don't allow reversals). That's why we suggest starting small and favoring ✓ Checked bills.

Why should I trust this?

Because you stay in control the whole time. You see the bill, you choose who to help, and you send the money yourself from your own app. We never touch it.
