$BillSwipe
Trust & safety

Is BillSwipe safe?

Here's exactly how it works, including what we can and can't promise.

💸 We never touch bill money

When you help someone, you send money from your own Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle directly to the person who posted the bill. It doesn't pass through BillSwipe. We never see it, hold it or take a cut.

🔒 We never ask for your card, bank login or passwords

Helping happens entirely in your own payment app. If anyone claiming to be BillSwipe asks for your card number, bank login, payment-app password or a "fee" to release money, it's a scam. Don't pay it, and let us know at support@billswipeapp.com.

🧾 You choose exactly who to help

Every bill shows the amount and due date, and many include a photo of the actual bill. A ✓ Checked badge means we looked at the photo ourselves and it matched the post.

💳 What we charge for

The only fee is a $4.99/month membership to post bills. It's processed securely by Stripe. We never see your card number, and you can cancel anytime from the Membership page. Membership fees are separate from bill payments and keep the site running.

⚠️ What we can't promise

Like any place where people ask for help, we can't guarantee every bill posted is real or that every payment gets used for that bill. Payment-app gifts usually can't be reversed. To be careful:

  • Start with a small amount.
  • Favor bills marked ✓ Checked or that include a photo.
  • Double-check the name in your payment app before you send.
  • Only send what you're comfortable giving.

If you're asking for help

Cover your account number and home address before adding a bill photo. Never share passwords or verification codes with anyone, including people offering to pay your bill.
